So I'm standing at the sink washing dishes and my mind wanders to movies, as it often does. For some reason I started thinking about 'Independence Day,' specifically when Vivica A. Fox's character tells the first lady that she "voted for the other guy."

And in that moment I realized for the very first time why President Roslin has always looked familiar to me.

She played the first lady in Independence Day.
