A night to remember
As soon as all of the customers were out of the store tonight my manager turned on the radio to a news station to hear election results.
I got home as fast as I could to eat pizza and watch the Daily Show/Colbert Report election night coverage.
At 11 o'clock, Jon Stewart announced that Barrack Obama had been elected president.
I watched the last two elections fairly closely. I know I stayed up as late as I could in 2004, but I didn't hear the official announcement until the next morning. This time, the election was called before midnight. That is amazing to me.
Also, I really have to give some kudos to John McCain. I watched his concession speech, and it was one of his most noble moments in this entire campaign.
And now, I sleep.
